To exudate, in the context of medicine, refers to a mass of cells and fluid that has seeped out of blood vessels or an organ, this occurs, especially in inflammation.
But in the context of botany and entomology (insects), it refers to a substance that is secreted

At the end of my residency at Nida Art Colony in November 2020, I installed the seven drawings produced during the residency period.
During a COVID-safe open studios event, visitors came to view the work and speak to me about the ideas behind them: goddess mythology, goddess symbolism and Marija Gimbutas, a Lithuanian archaeologist and mythologist
