I’ve been writing and editing since 2015 – non-fiction, blogs, op-eds, art reviews, ekphrastic, poetry, and grant applications. As an editor I observe overall themes, tone of voice, clarity, audience, and technical aspects including grammar, spelling, structure etc.

Focuses on the structure, organization, and flow of writing, the content and ideas, and how they are communicated.
Includes feedback on the development of ideas, characters, and/or themes, and suggested omissions/additions. Observation of the overall flow and pace of the writing.

Line-by-line edits to clean up sentence structure, word choice, syntax and how they support the tone of the writing.
